Our main focus is the horror genre. We sell horror all year. This isn’t a Spirit Halloween kind of thing. We are horror lifers. Maybe that describes you, too. If so—we welcome you with gross, decomposing arms.

We have an affiliate Libro.fm account we’d recommend you checking out. When you set up an account with them, you will be prompted to choose an indie bookstore to support. Please pick Ghoulish Books and a small percentage of every audiobook purchased onward will kick back to the shop.

Please note that our shelf space is limited and running a bookshop is not cheap, so we cannot stock every title we’d like to feature.

Ghoulish memberships are $50 and are good for one year from time of purchase. All Ghoulish members receive a laminated membership card, 10% discounts both online and at our physical store, and one free snack & drink at every horror movie screening we host at the store. There are two parking lots sandwiching our shop. However, they are both owned by private companies and require payment. We do not offer validation and are not responsible for any tickets or towing you might encounter parking in these lots. Seriously, they have nothing to do with us. We also have to pay to park there. This is just the reality of operating a business in the city. Complaining to us about this is not going to help the situation.

For free parking, we recommend trying to find a neighborhood side-street spot in the King William District a couple blocks down from our shop. It’s a nice area and very pleasant to walk!
