Ghoulish Book Festival was launched by Max and Lori Booth in the spring of 2022 as an annual celebration of everything spooky. It is a ghoulish weekend bursting with book vendors, panels, live readings, and other fun events.

The next GBF will occur in 2025 on March 14 & 15.

The venue’s address: 525 S St Mary’s St, San Antonio, TX 78205

Although the vendor room is free to the public, badges are required to attend the panels and readings.

GBF ’25 badges can be purchased here!

Although not mandatory, masking will still be highly encouraged during our upcoming Ghoulish Book Festival. Please consider the safety of our disabled and/or immunocompromised ghouls! We all want to have a good, spooky time together. (A limited amount of KN95s will be available at our check-in area.)

HOTEL LINK (with GBF-rate auto added). Note: if no rooms are available, please notify us at ghoulishbookfest@gmail.com. It’s possible the hotel isn’t actually sold out and we might just need to request additional room blocks from our hotel contact.

PARKING: Please note that parking is free at the venue only on Saturday. On Friday, the lot is reserved for locals who have parking passes only. However, there is an affordable parking lot across the street from the venue.
