SCOTT ADLERBERG
Scott Adlerberg is the author of five novels – Spiders and Flies, Jungle Horses, Graveyard Love, Jack Waters, and The Screaming Child. He has written many short stories and contributes pieces regularly to sites such as CrimeReads and Mystery Tribune. Every summer, he hosts the Word for Word Reel Talks film commentary series in Bryant Park in Manhattan. He was born in New York City and lives in Brooklyn.

Bury Your Gays: An Anthology of Tragic Queer Horror (editor)
Sofia Ajram is a Bram Stoker Award-winning metalsmith, writer and editor of queer and speculative stories. Their debut novella, Coup de Grâce, won the Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Long Fiction, was named a Best Book of 2024 by Barnes & Noble and Esquire, and was shortlisted for the Shirley Jackson Awards and Rakuten Kobo Emerging Writer prize.
They are the Canadian Arts and Fashion Award–winning designer, founder and metalsmith of Sofia Zakia jewelry as well as the editor of Bury Your Gays: An Anthology of Tragic Queer Horror. Sofia has given lectures on contemporary horror films at Monstrum Montreal and has had their work published in Nightmare Magazine. He lives in Montreal with his cat Isa.

Nadia Bulkin is the author of the short story collection She Said Destroy (Word Horde, 2017) and novella collection Issues With Authority (Ghoulish, 2025). She is a two-time winner of the Shirley Jackson Award: for Issues With Authority and as co-editor of the haunted house anthology Why Didn’t You Just Leave (Cursed Morsels, 2024). She has also won a 2023 Bram Stoker Award for her non-fiction essay “Becoming Ungovernable: Latah, Amok, and Disorder in Indonesia.” Her short stories have appeared in venues including Nightmare Magazine, The Dark, Southwest Review, and Ploughshares, as well as editions of The Best Horror of the Year, The Year’s Best Dark Fantasy & Horror, and Year’s Best Weird Fiction. JOHN C. FOSTER
John C. Foster was born in Sleepy Hollow, NY, and has been afraid of the dark for as long as he can remember. A writer of thrillers and dark fiction, Foster was raised in the wilds of southern New Hampshire before hauling stakes for the ersatz glow of Los Angeles. He has since relocated to the relative sanity of NYC. Foster is an enthusiastic amateur cook, partially to offset all the griping that results from pushing his increasingly decrepit body through the rigors of martial arts training.
John’s novel Dead Men was published by Perpetual Motion Machine Publishing (PMMP) in 2015 and his second novel, Mister White, was published by Grey Matter Press in April of 2016. His debut collection of short stories, Baby Powder and Other Terrifying Substances, was published by PMMP in January 2017. His short stories have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies including Shock Totem, Dark Moon Digest and Dread – the Best of Grey Matter Press among others. He lives in Brooklyn with the actress Linda Jones and their dog Coraline.

Lor Gislason (they/he) is a writer and editor from Van Isle known for their love of all things goopy. Cody Goodfellow has written nine novels and five collections, and has won three Wonderland Book Awards for Bizarro Fiction. He wrote, co-produced and scored the short Lovecraftian hygiene films Stay At Home Dad and Baby Got Bass, which have become viral sensations on YouTube. He has appeared in numerous short films, TV shows, music videos and commercials as research for his previous novel, Sleazeland. He also edits the hyperpulp zine Forbidden Futures. Jess Hagemann’s debut novel HEADCHEESE won a 2019 IPPY Award in Horror. Her sophomore novel MOTHER-EATING was named a “Most-Anticipated Horror Book of 2025” by PASTE MAGAZINE and made BLOODY DISGUSTING’s list of Best Horror Books of 2025. That same year, Rapture Publishing issued a standalone chapbook of her short story “Resurrection.” In 2026, she wrote the officially licensed novelization of the movie BURNING PALMS for Encyclopocalypse Publications. Eve Harms is a writer of horror and bizarro fiction. Her trans body horror novella TRANSMUTED was featured in Sadie Hartman’s award-winning book 101 Horror Books to Read Before You’re Murdered, and her other work has appeared in publications such as Vastarien Literary Journal, under Rayna Waxhead, and Creepy Catalog, under Kendra Temples.

Warren Wagner is a queer American filmmaker and author living in Canada. His work draws heavily from personal history and lived experience, often centering queer characters within bold genre storytelling. Wagner co-wrote the feature adaptation of the bestselling YA horror novel HELL FOLLOWED WITH US by Andrew Joseph White with screenwriter Alvaro Rodriguez. The film is being produced by Lilly Wachowski’s Anarchists United, Trustbridge Entertainment, and Powerhouse Animation Studios. In September 2025, Wagner was named to the Blumhouse Screamwriting Fellowship cohort for underrepresented voices in horror. Most recently, he was included as one of Austin Film Festival’s 25 Screenwriters To Watch in 2026.
