Very cool place! Great owner. Great books. They are super nice and knowledgeable. It’s very family friendly here. Just fair warning, The owner likes to dress like his dog. So, you may see him dressed in a dog suit from time to time,

The staff are helpful and welcoming. Max, the owner is awesome (he is a horror author too)!! They have horror books that you won't find in other retail bookstores and a few signed copies. They carry spooky books for YA, middle, and kids too. This is my favorite bookstore!! 🤓🖤

Introducing GHOULISH.RIP

Greetings, ghouls!

We are thrilled to finally launch our brand-new website for all things ghoulish.

Behold, the best URL in the world: GHOULISH.RIP.

After over a decade of using the Perpetual Motion Machine Publishing website (our old publishing name), we thought it was about to time to finally complete the ghoulish transformation.

GHOULISH.RIP will now be the central hub of all projects related to Ghoulish Books (both small press & bookstore), the GHOULISH Podcast Network, the Ghoulish Book Festival, the works of Max Booth III, and anything else we decide to jump into.

Our previous webstore only sold books that we’d personally published. Well, due to popular demand, we are pleased to announce that our new webstore also includes any titles & products offered at our physical location, too. However, please note that we are still in the process of updating product images and book descriptions. This will take a lot of time to finish, but we wanted to go ahead and launch the website now that SPOOKY SEASON has officially kicked off.

Check out the GHOULSTORE and buy some spooky books! To celebrate the launch of our new site, we’ve marked everything off with a 10% discount beginning RIGHT NOW and ending this Sunday (10/8/23).

For a semi-detailed history of our company, check out our ABOUT US page. To meet the ghouls behind Ghoulish, take a look at our STAFF page. Have a question? It’s probably answered in our FAQs. Curious about any upcoming Ghoulish events? Thankfully we have an EVENTS page for that! Wanna buy a badge for next year’s Ghoulish Book Festival? HERE YA GO.

Otherwise, I think that’s it! My partner Lori and I have been working extremely hard to get this website going, and we are both exhausted beyond belief and super excited to finally share it with the world. Have fun!

NOTE: If you had subscriptions or rewards points from our previous website, we are working on transferring those over to GHOULISH.RIP. Please be patient. Thank you.
